I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding a highly disappointing experience with a booking made through your platform.
I had booked tickets for the movie Son of Sardar-2 on 15th August for the 1:30 PM show scheduled on 17th August at Apple Cinema Bapunagar. The booking confirmation number is APCL-009698-01940E.
To my surprise, upon arriving at the theatre 30 minutes before the show, I was informed by the staff that no such show was scheduled. There was no prior cancellation notice from either BookMyShow or Apple Cinema. The staff casually suggested I might be at the wrong location and showed no concern or professionalism. When I requested to speak with the manager, a random individual claimed to be the manager but behaved in an unprofessional and dismissive manner, offering a refund without any explanation or accountability.
Later, I managed to obtain a contact number for the actual manager, who was rude, abusive, and refused to take any responsibility, instead directing me to BookMyShow.
This experience was not only frustrating but also deeply disappointing.
