I regret to inform you that I would like to lodge a complaint for charging extra money to get replacement for my Toaster RPT603 under warranty.

Since after your service engineer has checked the toaster(Ref complaint no 7/10/4)and put a replacement sticker on it. Further I was assured that it would be replaced at S.S.D.N Trading Co from where I have purchased it. But when I visited your dealer was reluctant to replace it even when the stock was available and simply refused to replace which was not expected..

After calling to multiple people in service centre finally the owner of SSDN Trading Co spoke to Gryphon appliances. Then he said he will only give replacement if I pay Rs 200 extra which was totally disgusting and unprofessional on part of Gryphon appliances. Moreover he did not allow me to take tray which comes as a standard acessories.

According to him there is no coordination between company and dealer so he is charging the extra money even if the product is in warranty.

Since I had a need of the toaster so I have to negotiate with him and finally gave Rs 100/- for getting my Toaster as replacement that too without tray.

This kind of arm twisting is not expected from Gryphon Appliances and its dealer specially Russell Hobbs which is an international brand.

Why a customer should suffer on part of defective product and had to travel all the way, plead with dealer, listen to his bull shit just to get his product replacement..

Simply awful experience and in real bad taste.

I am writing this mail expecting a corrective and disciplinary action being taken and further to refund me the extra amount which I have to pay to get my replacemen
