Order number 2535583667 was not delivered fully. The delivery man gave me only the food and never delivered the pet bottles to me. This kind of unprofessional behavior is not expected from Zomato.

I am a regular customer of Zomato, the online food delivery service. Although I had chosen to ignore shortcomings in their service in the past, I humbly seek redressal of the 3 grievances mentioned below as disservice to the customer seems to have become the norm with Zomato, rather than exception.
1 -Order placed on 17th July 2017 : There was food spillage but Zomato's response was that "we cannot fix what happened, we fail sometimes but give us another opportunity to serve" to which I replied back but there was no response

2- Order on 28th July 2019 :
While ordering I was unable to apply the promo code and hence lost 40% discount. I wanted to cancel the order but there is no cancel button so I tried chatting with their CS rep but the window did not open for a long time, by which time the restaurant had started to prepare the order. Also, their CS helpline is not published anywhere. Again, the response to my email was unempathetic and failed to acknowledge their shortcomings

3- Order placed on 1st Aug 2019 :
Condiments were missing so I chatted with their CS exec online. The exec was least helpful, refused to disclose his name, refused to pass on my complaint to the supervisor and did not provide any resolution other than asking me to write a bad review on the restaurant so that other customers could be alerted. What a waste of my precious time and money!!!

I have raised the above concerns with Zomato but I felt failed as they did not seem to care about either understanding or resolving the issue. All I received were "cold" and standard "cut and paste" responses from their unempathetic staff. I would be happy to share the emails and chat screenshots as evidence.

I had a lunch today at the mentioned restaurant (hajratgunj outlet). I asked them to pack the food but they refused me for the same, and said it because we were zomato gold members, they cannot pack the food for us. We talked about wastage of food, but they didn't budge and were self-righteous about their practice, and said "sir, it's not about money, it's about morals".

Maybe I can't have morals when I read about starvation in India. Maybe it is embarrassing to ask the restaurants to pack half eaten food. Maybe it is respectful to waste the food that you've ordered.

But it is my right as a customer to have the food I purchased, and take it anywhere I want (i even said that i could pay for the packing).

I talked to some other of my friends (they do not have zomato gold membership), they said that the above mentioned restaurant denied them of packing the half eaten food as well when they asked for it. I think there are more people like that.

It is my humble request to make the restaurant, pack food for its customers if they ask for it, and issue a public apology for such practice.

People starve to death and thanks to the brands like these, the food that is available is going to dustbins!

Hello sir/madam,

I have order food from Zomato at 8.25pm today by making full payment to the restaurant called Niche Cafe which is in dahisar. As per the update which I have received on Zomato application was to deliver the food at 9.15pm and it almost been 10. 12pm still I haven't received mine order. The support team are not replying to mine queries. I need to get reimbursement of mine time and money. If they are not fulfilling the commitment then they are not suitable to run such business.

I have order pizza from domino's via Zomato at 9:30pm after 45 minutes they updated order status as food delivered. I waited till 12 my order didn't deliver. But they updated status as delivered. My whole family slept hungry with out eating food.

Hi I had ordered food from Zomato on 26th July 2019 at 07.52pm and I made the payment online , I was waiting for 2hrs for my food to get delivered and no delivery boy was assigned , However after 1hr the delivery status of my food showed delivered, But I did not receive my food nor was my money refunded after several attempts of mailing them about it.
